IP Attorney – Job Description
This is a legal counsel role with the following requirements:
- Advise on the platform rules and procedures relating to copyright and trademark infringement and protection
- Handle copyright and trademark-related questions with rights holders
- Develop and implement IP protection and enforcement strategy for the platform against infringements by others
- Apply effective risk management strategies and offer proactive advice on possible legal issues
- Conduct all assignments with integrity and a high degree of responsibility
The Candidate Should
- Have J.D. degree with 2+ years of legal practice, including in-house experience
- Have trademark/copyright experience
- Preferably have internet and technology experience
- Be entrepreneurial and proactive
- Be able to work independently
